Using multitouch or touch-and drag? This is a followup to the work @legnes did in #482

Supporting cut/copy/paste on mobile might be a bit clunky but figuring out a way to do that is a potential follow-up issue to this.

Note that I think we should implement this even if we aren't able to do cut/copy/paste any time soon, as we might use selections for #468 and/or #140
