Describe the bug
When saving a new design, the fusion 360 window gets a light blueish tint, and you cannot interact with the save window, or anything else in fusion. Clicking on the text box and pressing backspace is the only functionality that works in the window. Pressing esc exits the window and the file is not saved. Saving old files works fine however, all other menus work.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use latest install script to install
  2. Open fusion 360
  3. sign in
  4. Create new model
  5. Press ctrl S
  6. see menu with erroring

Expected behavior
Menu works properly like on a windows machine, allowing interaction with the text box, a lack of a blue tint, and functional buttons.

I am experiencing this same issue. This same type of modal dialog pops up at first launch after updating Fusion 360 to "customize your workspace" or something similar. I was able to ESC out of that.

For what it's worth, I am able to type inside the save window. I am completely unable to click in that window to swap projects however. As a workaround, I was able to create a project from the main Fusion 360 window, and then enter into it. After that, I was able to save and type my desired file name and then hit ENTER.

  • Graphics card model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti on Nvidia driver 565.77
  • Operating system: Fedora 41
  • Desktop environment: Gnome 47 on Wayland
  • Mode: DXVK

I can't type in the save window as you can. However, clicking ENTER does allow me to save a project, and then in the Data Panel I have to rename the project, which isn't ideal. I won't close this thread with the comment as this isn't really intended behavior and similar menus like the "open" menu under file (Ctrl+O) also do not work.
