I ask because I'm getting a warning about github actions that still use node.js v12 when I use this action in a workflow run.

Node.js 12 actions are deprecated. For more information see: https://github.blog/changelog/2022-09-22-github-actions-all-actions-will-begin-running-on-node16-instead-of-node12/. Please update the following actions to use Node.js 16: csexton/release-asset-action

I get here, and I see 5 open PRs from dependabot...

I would like to continue using this action because it is surprisingly hard to find an action that uploads release assets and doesn't alter the release's name if not specified to the action's inputs. I'm looking at https://github.com/shogo82148/actions-upload-release-asset as a replacement since it seems to be regularly maintained.

@2bndy5 i have stopped using this action, but if you would like to help maintain I could give you write access to the repo. Would you be interested?

Sorry, I have too much on my plate as it is. You could add a "needs help" label to the issue to try and attract volunteers. I have successfully replaced my use of this action with the one I mentioned in OP.

FWIW, thanks for the many years of usage this action has provided ❤️ .
