Before opening a new issue, please read the following
Are you reporting a successful flash? No
Do you have a question about configuring your newly flashed device? No
Did you have issues getting a device to flash? Yes
I do not know how to check if the chip is patched and unhackable, so have been operating on the premise that it is amenable to flashing.
I have tried flashing it when in slow blinking mode as well as fast blinking mode. (AP to configure wifi is enabled in the fast blinking mode).
I also tried to save the vtrust-flash wifi when in the AP mode when nothing else seemed to be working. This did not help.
I am sharing my logs as well as the images of the device hoping it will appear similar to something the community has solved for.
I had also created a hotspot and captured packets as the smart switch connected to the hotspot and was controlled via the mobile app all switches were toggled a few times). I can share the .pcap file if someone can figure out how this communicates with its server (it speaks to iotapi.mobiiot.in).
I would be happy if someone can guide me to generate/trigger/replay the appropriate packets from my laptop (from where I want to control the switches - that is the ultimate goal behind the attempts to flash it).
