Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The current SAML configuration works to get users logged in, but using a link to SSO for CU Staff under the standard Drupal login form is a less than ideal initial UX. The user is then sent to the default Drupal user page without any context. If the user tries to use several Drupal core user account features like changing account information or reseting their password, these will result in an error. Logging out of SAML technically works, but the user isn't redirected back to the CMS.
Currently users have to know to go to /user. We didn't have a link to the login in Web Express despite constant requests for this feature. It is especially confusing when the site is 3 levels deep like colorado.edu/college/department/user.

Describe the solution you'd like
There are a number of contrib modules that can be updates/added to the project like https://www.drupal.org/project/noreqnewpass and https://www.drupal.org/project/force_users_logout, but there are also some custom development required and UX decisions that need to be made.
Do we want to add something link the CMS Login at the bottom of the pages on https://ucdenver.edu/?
