Penalty icons don't convey whether we are about to start the timer, or just stopped the timer #15

Indicating if the puzzle is solved or unsolved might convey this information. Unfortunately, we can't use any color, or even grayscale, but maybe white stickers vs black stickers could give a sense of the puzzle being unsolved. @jliu

Thanks for filing this. This is currently my main remaining concern with the icon.

And/or dithered gray? But maybe black/white is simple and clear enough.

Another idea: show "0.00" on the timer for stuff before the beginning of the solve?
