box_scores with matchup_total=False does not work and always return full matchup stats

Summary

Function box_scores matchup_total flag does not have any effect on output and function always return scores for whole matchup.

I wanted to retrieve H2H category league matchup results for each day separately, but this does not seem to be possible.

Interesting, so the players stats should be for that day however I am not sure how the overall team stats would show for the specific scoring period. I am checking on ESPN's website switching to individual days and not seeing the overall matchup stats change. Are you able to see the individual days on their website. I am only seeing the player stats being updated.
