What would be the use case?

Before explaining my use case, I would like to point out that anyone might need a >10sec interval for anything else that neither of us know about and therefore arbitrarily limiting the duration at all is a bad idea.

As for my use case, it's turning two phones into night lights : keeping a phone flashlight on continuously makes it eventually overheat, so I'd workaround that by using two phones, that take over each other every few minutes.
