Publishing this extension to the Open VSX Registry in addition to the Visual Studio Marketplace would allow it to be used with apps such as VSCodium and Gitpod as well. Details on this process can be found here.

Edit, for anyone coming across this until it is solved: I found a similar extension called Text Power Tools, which is available on Open VSX.
