Where is the HOCR output #1594

Hi, I've set the output_type to 'hocr'.
Tesseract is correctly installed, still in Elasticsearch I see the 'txt' output. Or should the hocr be stored somewhere else? In fact I need the hocr to be stored on file-system for another purpose. Is it possible to get/save the hocr?

I have no idea. My guess would be that it's extracted as HOCR in the content field. It's not the case?

The content fields is the same as when I use txt output_format. I created a simple tif document and uploaded this tif with the REST service. This is the content attribute in Elasticsearch:

"content": "This is a simple TIF document.\n\nBlock2 text\n\n\n",

But when I run the tesseract command-line for this file (including hocr option), the result is:

So it seems not to work as intended. However I would even like to get the hocr and save it to a file and store the content in ES.

I see. I think we need to see how Tika supports this option and if something is needed in FSCrawler to enable this. May be discuss that in the issue and qualify the issue as a bug.
