Issue Description

Seeing that both Choco and Scoop package managers are supported, I suggest also adding WinGet (windows official package manager for Windows 11). It is severely lacking packages since there is a manual vetting process involved, which requires the packages to be controlled (after an insurgence of no checking, and a lot of troll packages).

Maybe related to this but is there a reason as to why the version on Chocolatey is the 0.x instead of 1.x?

Check out the Chocolatey label - there are a number of open questions (e.g. change install location) that I want to address before shipping the 1.0 breaking change, and I just…haven't. You already found #896, which is a reasonable proxy for that conversation going forward.
