The document does not say that all SD-JWT VCDM have to be VCDM v2-compliant. But you can define documents that are. That is why this work is VCDM v2 compatible. Nobody prevents you from putting VCDM v2 claims in an SD-JWT VCDM.
So when the SD-JWT VCDM document says it "is compatible with the W3C VCDM v2", then what that means is that some documents can be defined to be conformant, but the SD-JWT VCDM format itself is NOT automatically conformant, or compatible with the VC ecosystem?
This document says that it is compatible with the W3C VCDM v2, but I cannot see how?
None of the examples in this document seem to be conformant VC documents, or even compatible with the VC ecosystem.
