Is this a planned feature? It seems image crate provides capability for this but looks like it will take a bunch of refactoring.

Hello @JustinBacher! Unfortunately, it's not a planned feature for now. image crate provides support for gif images, but the GLSL scripts should be changed, along to the drawing code to continuously draw a new frame. This could definitely be a new feature for a 2.0 release.
