Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I need to export my photo for my agence, with some IPCT's field. But I can't do il with Darktable. I need to use Gimp or XnView... but it is really unconfortable. Why? My process is : I upload my pics with DT in raw, I make some modifications (crops, lightness, and so) and I export them in jpg... Then I modidy the IPCT in Gimp in jpg format. If I want to go back to the RAW, I loose all the IPTC information...

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like to have a full and configurable meta-data module, and to do all my job in DT.

Alternatives

For the moment the alternative is to use several software.
