As per #185, we plan to deprecate this package (the Universal Analytics protocol will stop processing hits on July 1, 2023; clients need to migrate to the newer GA4 protocol). The process for deprecating here is:

  • updating the readme
  • publishing a new version w/ the readme change
  • closing outstanding PRs and obsoleted issues
  • keeping an issue open for discussion on replacement solutions (this issue, or investigate supporting GA4 #185)
