IntelliJ Autocomplete first suggestion is most of the time wrong

The issue pretty much speaks for itself. When I bring up the autocomplete the first suggestion is most of the time in the context wrong and I have to manually select the correct one (usually one or two below). Here is an instance I just had reproduced:

In this context I obviously need value instead of what is suggested.

How do I go about fixing this? Is it an IntelliJ plugin problem or an analysis server problem?
