This is an enhancement request for the Redshift data sharing feature to be released in 2.7.0 #955

Redshift specialists have identified simplification opportunities in the parameters that users need to introduce for the creation of a Redshift Connection.

  • If users connect via a Secret in Secrets Manager the secret will most likely also store the database --> when using secrets, the database field should be optional and users should have the option to hit (use database from secret)
