Jupyter Notebook Dependency Viewer/Minimap buttons not working

After some preliminary testing the notebook extension appears to work with Jupyter notebook but when clicking either of the buttons in the notebook interface nothing happens, this is likely because it is trying to add a widget panel that can't be added.

This seems like it's probably an easy fix assuming the widget panel can be added through other means.
