Hello @datalorax

First, thank you for your package. I'm an R dev too.
I missed a place (like Discussions) for things that are not indeed an Issue.

So I'm using this new Issue to make a simple question.

  • Is there any chance this package will support simple equations in the future, or will it only focus on extracting them from models?

Example:

> equatiomatic::print_eq(a ~ b + c)

# $$
# \operatorname{a} \sim \alpha + \operatorname{b} + \operatorname{c} + \epsilon
# $$

Thank you

Hi @franzbischoff, we have had discussions about this off and on but haven't actually ever implemented it. I do like the idea, but honestly development has really stalled on this package, mostly because of life and me starting a new job, etc. I'll keep this open as a potential enhancement down the line.

This probably wouldn't be that terrible to implement, especially after the refactor (which stalled but should start up again next month).
