Toolbar icon size does not follow default toolbar icon size #2

The default toolbar icon size on my QGIS is 16, but each time QGIS starts the size of the toolbar icons of QgsRemoteControl is much larger than 16.
Workaround: after QGIS starts, go to Settings->Options...->General tab and click "Icon size" tab (terribly annoying!)
Windows 8 - QGIS V2.2 and any QGIS-dev up to b2e726e; OSGEO4W (both 32bits & 64bits versions)
