YARA Prerequisite requires C++ Runtime

Getting this error when running the script. Please help identify which C++ is required.

The Visual C++ Redistributable is required in order to use YARA

Microsoft's latest multi-release for the VC++ redist will sort you out.

Datto, It would have been a great thing to include this install in the script. I am not certain why you wouldnt include this when its supposed to be used with an RMM.

We did not consider it within the scope of the tool. We check for the VC++ redistributable and tell the user what to do if it isn't found. Were we to download and install it automatically we would be automating something some people want to manage themselves.
