Incorporate tweening into main render loop

Until this is fixed, can I suggest mentioning it in the documentation as a known issue? I spent a while trying to figure out my problem, and even searching the bug tracker wouldn't have helped because I didn't know the cause was tweening and this issue doesn't mention the features that tweening breaks.
