I tried to contact @davidferguson back in 2019 and never got a reply. I tried here and on twitter. I believe he has abandoned the project.

Pibakery worked well for me when I used it a couple of years ago, so I've been following the project ever since. Kudos to the authors for making headless raspberry pi setups easy!
