What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. plugging in atv-bootloader boots into linux then just hangs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
auto/manual/patchstick failed - starting telnetd
discover

last line is interrupt 18 baseaddress:0x800
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
atv 2.3.1 ubuntu 8.10 sandisk cruzer micro 512MB

Please provide any additional information below.
finally got it working, or so I thought! It starts fine, looks like
everything is detected, but then it just hangs

silly question, but I just realised I was trying to do this over the wifi. I 
will try
again after some sleep

"auto/manual/patchstick failed - starting telnetd", indicates a patchstick 
creation issue. Try another brand USB 
flash drive.
