Patch Stick GetMasterBlock: Error 13 opening /dev/rdisk1s2

im getting a error when i try use the usb patch stick.
ive tried this multipul times and i get the same error.

Im using an iMac OS X 10.8
Program name: atvusb-creater-1.0.b13.zip
Installation options: XBMC/Boxee for mac.

THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS:

Had same error when CleanMyMac was checking usb thumb drives. Disabled that 
option and got usb patch stick. Also try running as sudo user.

I had the same issue - reboot did not fix. I logged in as root user and was 
able to create the patchstick.
