Could not search any text in txt
[Feature Request] Index files based on extensions so they are searchable through search
Aug 25, 2023
The reason this doesn't work yet is because the default search functionality only searches through indexed files. Currently, Plaintext does not index any files, so it's expected to not work.
I'm very surprised a plugin for plaintext cannot handle plain search (maybe driven by a flaw in Obsidian plugin ecosystem, but still odd from the outside).
I can't find the text I want to edit without Ctrl+F or / so this plugin is definitely not useful even though it seems like it's 99% of the way there 🤔
I'm commenting to hopefully sign up to help add this functionality, not complain 😇
