Unable to import from json on android app

Been playing with the macless-haystack for a few days and its amazing, thanks for the effort in the project.

I just downloaded the android apk and installed, i had exported the accessories from my computer in json and tried to import on android.
When pressing the import from json, nothing happens.
I checked the app permissions and enabled access to files(disabled by default), still nothing.

Currently using:
Android 9
Macless-haystack android app from release 2.2.0 (android app page says 1.1.0?)
