Hi there,
since the orginal adminer seems to be no longer maintained, adminerevo is its successor here.
Since there are soime issues now, we should consider to update the image perhaps to a current verison: https://github.com/yannoff/docker-adminerevo/tree/4.8.4

Thank you for the suggestion.

The next release of DDEV, which will be out this week or next week, will have some improvements to the add-on customization.
After that, I'm going to review and update all the official add-ons and I'll look into this issue.
