Is there a web service in Deep Security that would allow us to see the status of a scanned file or a web service that would allow us to initiate a scan of a file and get the results.

Hi @CliffordMaloney.

No, but we love to hear more about your use case.

On that note, we have different solutions that might already be a good fit for you. Cloud One File Storage Security is a cloud-native security service that specializes in scanning object storage like Amazon S3. Another solution is Cloud One Application Security, a drop-in library that you can import into your application and it will automatically protect against malware.

Hi @raphabot .
Thanks for confirming there is not an api available for what we were wanting. What we have is a client that is accepting attachments on a Public Portal. These attachments are then uploaded to an internal application via web service calls. The attachments (files) are currently saved to a folder on a server that is running Deep security. As soon as the file is added to the directory it is to be scanned. If there is no virous we will make an api call that will move the file to the internal application and it's final resting place. We just need a way to know if the file has passed or not, before we move it. I have mot seen anything in the Deep Security product AIP that would do that.
