For example, image/video processing with multiple models, current sql semantic does not seem to support multi-modal data processing?

Certainly, it is supported. In addition to SQL, you have the flexibility to write Python functions to utilize existing packages. If performance is critical, you can develop SQL UDFs using DuckDB extensions.
