Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We would like to be able to publish nightly snapshots and/or release candidate builds of the SWF packages. This will enable us to do tests prior to a proper release, including potentially to a long lived environment to get feedback as well as enable us to solicit feedback on a feature pre-release from requestors. Ideally such a solution will help give us higher confidence in our releases, among other benefits.
This would also facilitate the ability for us to do nightly testing on various distros as needed of what is currently in main, should the need arise to, again, increase confidence in the quality of the production artifacts we are releasing and their compatibility with various distributions and configurations. This would also align us with some of the goals of the uds-core team along the same lines see 213250
Describe the solution you'd like
Given a package repo
When a recurring schedule runs or build is intentionally initiated
Then snapshot or RC artifacts are produced
