Is it possible to make post_mortem the default behaviour?

set post_mortem works fine but it would be very useful if there was a way to activate this feature programmatically. I would be happy to help if the idea is acceptable and if I can get some pointers from the maintainers 🙏

Or this might make sense as a plugin similar to pry-rescue that makes the default byebug behaviour post_mortem is on.
