I want to have the possibility to write an commit message with more than one line. I mainly use the Source Control for commits, but it seems to be impossible to write an multiline commit message there.
I always write a little bit about my changes in the commit, like it is common for source code commits, for documentation reasons. For this a singleline message is unhandy.
