Checking with Danielle if we should pick up this work |
Hello @strelichl do I need to take any further action to begin the collaboration process? |
@cassidy-beach we're still waiting for our OCTO lead to confirm with POs whether we will be able to provide support, but I'll update here when we hear back |
Hi @strelichl! Are there any updates? |
@cassidy-beach still waiting! |
Noting that I still need to follow up with Danielle on the content portion next week, but in the meantime Mikki is coordinating with our IA folks on next steps for that piece. |
Yes, I've been in contact with Sam and Kristin. Thank you! |
Thanks for the great meeting today Cassidy, Sneha, Jen, and Theresa. And for all the awesome detailed chat about next steps for the 'Licenses and Certifications' search and the 'National Tests' costs lists. A quick summary of my understanding of this work:
|
@cassidy-beach @sneha8712 I discussed our brainstorm of where to locate the Licenses & Certifications search and the National Test cost list, with OCTO. A new suggestion for where to locate National Tests came out of the conversation. In the Eduction hub, there is already a benefit rates page in place, which organizes the rates/costs for different GI Bill benefits. Some advantages to locating the National Tests cost list here:
If you would like support discussing this option with your stakeholders, since it's a good fit for how va.gov is set up but may not be a complete fit with your contract's mandate of moving data into the Comparison Tool, please let me know. |

Collaboration timeframe
Note: We work on nearly every OCTO product and manage all unauthenticated content on VA.gov, so we will need to prioritize intake requests based on overall workload and VA and OCTO priorities.
Is this work tied to a Congressional mandate, change in law or policy, or upcoming event with a specific deadline?
Where are you at in your timeline?
Tell us briefly about what you're working on now (such as initial discovery, wireframing, or usability research planning) and add any known dates for upcoming milestones or deadlines.

Looking to schedule Design Intent touchpoint within 1 month
Will you release this new product incrementally (for example, release to 25% of users to start)?
Note: For an incremental launch, we use React widgets to display dynamic content. We'll need at least 2 weeks of extra time to coordinate the content for this and work with your engineer. Learn more about our process for dynamic content. If your launch plans change, notify CAIA of the change as soon as possible so we can talk about how that will impact the timeline.
