Design Discovery "Submission status on VA.gov" 1.1 Release (CST)

As a Veteran,
I want to to view, print, or download a copy of my 526ez disability compensation claim application after submitting online,
So that I can have a record of my submission and trust that my application has been received, even if my claim is unsuccessful.

Some forms also show a “received” status in the Claims and appeals section of My VA. If your form appears as a claim, decision review, or appeal in the claim status tool, work with the team that manages that tool to determine how and where you should show form submission status in My VA.

• Dependent on the CST aka Benefits Management Tools teams to implement designs.

Design constraints

• How to adapt the VADs claim card template to include ancillary forms and evidence is unclear.

Technical contraints

• How will ancillary forms and evidence be displayed on the My VA claim card unclear.

Acceptance Criteria

• Engineering and Product Management should be able to reference the concept designs for future product and technical discovery work in 2025.

In Scope

• This work is scope for as conceptual and does not need to go through the collab cycle in 2024.
• The designs do not need to include annotations for relevant headings and accessibility details, as these design are not intended to be used as engineering spec at this early stage in the design process.

Out of Scope

• Significant alterations to CST's existing and planned design improvements.
