Why do we have 2 formula to install k9S: k9s vs derailed/k9s/k9s ?
Are both formulae supported ?

The one in Homebrew-core is not from @derailed, see this PR which added the Formula. In our release pipeline we only release to Formula by derailed at derailed/homebrew-k9s, see the code at https://github.com/derailed/k9s/blob/master/.goreleaser.yml#L87-L100
So "officially" by k9s only the derailed/homebrew-k9s is supported. I'm unsure how Homebrew-core is updated but it seems to be up-to-date as well.

Many thanks for the clarification. I prefer to use the official supported formula as it allows also to install k9s on linux aarch64
