App icon is not shown: what am I doing wrong? #763

Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS, LXQt, feh installed globally via apt, version 3.6.3-1.
/usr/share/applications/feh.desktop exists and has the Icon property set to feh
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalabale/apps/feh.png exists (and, just in case, feh.svg exists, too)
However, when launched, the default empty icon is shown: https://i.imgur.com/YFXLMWt.jpeg

So, what am I missing? :)
