We currently support installing the devfile registry using the operator. This is great for OpenShift since OLM is installed by default. For generic K8s, the user will need to explicitly install OLM before they can install the devfile registry using the operator. In order to make it easier to install the devfile registry on generic K8s, this item will provide the ability for installing a devfile registry using Helm.

This item includes:

  • Helm chart for installing a devfile registry using Helm
  • Provides the equivalent life cycle support on the installed registry as using the operator
