In the scope of eclipse-che/che#18990 Dashboard is going to create dockercfg in the DevWorkspace namespace.

It's needed to implement the mechanism to use such secret as imagePullSecret.

Possible alternatives:

  • secret is labeled with something like controller.devfile.io/secret-kind: imagePullSecret
  • devworkspace operator lists and mounts all available dockercfg secrets to the devworkspace pods.
  • something else
