We are producing 250 devices that will be used by DLTx for market validation. These will be deployed in US and possibly Palestine and Kenya with other business partners. For this phase, there is no plan to sell these in open market for general consumers. - What is your approximate price point? $500

- How will your customers be able to contact you for support for your products? Direct contact. Initial 250 units are for market validation and will be for DLTx use (internal)
- How long will the company provide customer support?
Since this is pilot run for internal use, we expect the support requirement will be for short time i.e. 4-6 months. These devices may be replaced with final production unit in future. - How are you planning to handle repairs and replacements? Repairs will be handled via internal process.
- The community is concerned about devices that can be easily hacked, specifically by copying their swarm_key files. Applications should include plan for how the devices will be secured. The approved security element is an ECC608. If you would like to use an alternative security element your HIP19 will require additional review, please email Dewi (christina@dewi.org).

This would includes remote updates and the ability for hosts to change wifi settings, via Helium's official app or otherwise.
Current plan is to modify Helium's official app for use with our device. Inital plan for onboarding and device configuration via BLE. Firmware updates via Helium Stack/app via docker for easy maintenance and updates. - Which security implementation (ECC608, TPM, TrustZone, other) are you using? ECC608

If you have not built gateways before, are you using a third party manufacturer? This is the single largest risk with most hardware ventures. If possible please provide information about your manufacturing partners and supply chain. Supply-chain is managed by us. We are talking to critical manufacturers directly and working with large distributors in US, India and Taiwan to secure the necessary parts. This will be manufactured by a CM partner and we will have full control over design, components and production testing.

Per typical KYC/AML procedures, proof of identity for major shareholders (25%+ ownership) will be expected to be provided privately to representatives from Helium Inc or Helium Foundation board members. The biggest challenge facing the delivery schedule is supply-chain constraints. We have designed the product that can accommodate alternate hardware and have designed the product after validating the availability of critical components. Production will be carried out by our manufacturing partner Avalon (India)
