Language change - Polish - don't work

Hi! Is it possible to change a language other than English?

I am from Poland. I have a Polish version (patch with language) that works 100% with the Steam version. Unfortunately, in dhewm3 the audio changes (it is in Polish - i.e. the characters speak), but the subtitles remain in English (i.e. mission description, mission objectives, PAD, etc.).

I do everything as I should. The doomconfig.cfg file has the language "Polish".

Is there a chance to make the subtitles in the game also in Polish?

Please set in console sys_lang polish

Original Doom 3 uses configuration file DoomConfig.cfg in base/ directory (Steam adds seta sys_lang "polish" so it works from Steam)
dhewm3 uses dhewm.cfg in c:\Users\USER\Documents\My Games\dhewm3\base\ - DoomConfig.cfg is ignored
