Currently curators link researchers to genes from the gene curation interface. These genes also show up on the researcher's colleague page, which is nice.
We curators only can do this efficiently from the gene curation procedure, so we should retain this ability from the gene curation. Call a colleague up from the database and link it, and the linked gene shows up on that colleague page, the researcher on the gene page.
Currently we have one anonymous link like 'sadA researcher' on the gene page and that links to a page with all researchers linked listed. We could think about listing the researchers directly, but needs to be discussed.
