The "connection lost" dialog (which shows up when connection to the exam server is lost while in an exam) successfully prevents scrolling or clicking anywhere on the exam page. However, it does not prevent interaction with an already active input. For example, if the test taker is writing something to a text input while the "connection lost" dialog shows up, they can continue writing to that input, thus creating possible save conflicts. I am unsure where the frontend for the exam exists in this repository, but this bug is most definitely a frontend bug.
