When running as a WSGI service, the checkbox column (used for selecting multiple objects) is sometimes missing from rendered tables. This issue appears to have first surfaced with django-tables2 v1.7.0.
As a workaround, users can install django-tables2 v1.6.1:
pip[3] install django-tables2==1.6.1
