Disable rack face / position for child devices

Currently if you select a rack face and/or position when adding a child device, there's an error reported:

Wouldn't it be better to disable the options for child devices instead of let the user run into the error?

Additionally, shouldn't this also be disabled if a new device is going to be created and a child hardware device type is selected?

Exactly meant is the page "Devices/Add a device" (/dcim/devices/add/).
