Investigate a way to maintain state across devices

Currently if one browses minireddit on their computer and their phone, they see the same content, which is undesirable. Investigate into a method to maintain state across devices. One possible suggestion would be to login with Facebook or Google and maintain state on the server in addition to local storage.
