"Cite Q" (https://diff.wikimedia.org/2021/01/14/automatically-maintained-citations-with-wikidata-and-cite-q/) is a mechanism for citing source works which have a Wikidata entry ("Q" id). The wikidata metadata is fetched at page render type and transcluded.

I'm not sure how prevalent use is so far, but it would be nice for wikiciteparser to support this in some way. At a minimum, it could return a reference object with the wikidata qid in the ID_list and nothing else.
