This repository has been archived by the owner on Dec 18, 2022. It is now read-only.
Considering divnix/digga#477 has been merged, the fate of bud is written on the wall. Should the repo be archived now? Perhaps with a disclaimer in the README?
Should bud be deprecated because it is not maintained or because it is not useful anymore?
What should I use to have commands specific to my digga config instead?
@sweenu, we have had some talks about integrating digga as a std repository. This would give us access to the very nice std cli/tui combo tool, as well as a more organized code structure. I have what you might consider a lightweight "proto-type" for my own system config here: https://github.com/nrdxp/nrdos. This doesn't currently use digga at all, but digga could be modified to look at lot more like this.
If you enter the devshell of my config, and then just call std, the TUI will open and you can get a taste of what it looks like. Either way, I think bud should probably be archived as its purpose has mostly be supplanted by standard by now, and that's where all the effort is going nowadays.
