The releases page shows no entries. Please make a release for each actual published release, and ensure that the procedure for making future releases includes that step too :-)

I tagged the 1.0.0 and 1.0.0dev versions. Is there any tool, which can automate this and ensure it in future releases?

setuptools_scm is a good way to automatically sync the version number with git tags.
