I'm testing two drones, a Mini 3 Pro (non-C0) and a Mini 3 C0. When using the DJI Fly app in Europe (Italy), I can set a maximum altitude of 500m on the Mini 3 Pro without any issues. However, on the Mini 3 C0, the maximum altitude is limited to 120m.
When using the KeyHeightLimit of DJI SDK 5.11, the maximum altitude I can set is capped at 120m for both drones, regardless of their model or certification.
I would like to understand:
Is this limitation imposed by the SDK?
If I were outside Europe, would I be able to set a higher altitude for both drones using the SDK?
Thank you for your support and clarification.

Dear developer,
Hello, thank you for contacting DJI Innovations.
Is it not a limitation of the SDK? Have you verified and confirmed that the device has completed the C0 label tearing application certification? Otherwise, it can only fly to a height of 120m
I hope our solution can help you, and I wish you a happy life!

Maybe I wasn’t clear in my previous explanation.
The Mini 3 Pro I’m testing does not have a C0 label (it never did). Under these conditions, using the DJI Fly app, I can set altitude limits greater than 120m without any issues. However, when I attempt the same using SDK 5.11, it does not accept any values above 120m.
Could you please clarify why this occurs?
Additionally, is there a procedure to remove the C0 certification for drones that were never labeled as C0 in the first place?
Thank you for your assistance and support!
Dear developer,
Hello, thank you for contacting DJI Innovations.
I have reported this phenomenon to my R&D colleague, and he has informed me that in Europe, aircraft are limited to a height of 120m, which cannot be modified through MSDK at present.
I hope our solution can help you, and I wish you a happy life!
Best Regards,
